Drew Ferguson oversees U.S. government affairs at Hyundai Motor Group’s Washington, D.C. office, leading strategic collaboration and policy engagement with federal and state governments. He previously served four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he played a key role in coordinating legislative strategy as the Chief Deputy Whip for the Republican Party.

In 2008, Ferguson was elected as mayor of West Point, Georgia, where he contributed to revitalizing the local economy and attracting manufacturing investment. The area is now a strategic hub, home to a Kia Motors plant.

He previously served as the Chief Deputy Whip for House of Republicans from 2018 to 2022.

He holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Medical College of Georgia and plays a significant role in Hyundai’s strategic expansion in the U.S., leveraging his extensive policy experience and deep understanding of regional industry.
