Taylor Amato

Director, Legal, Energy & Environment

Taylor provides guidance across a broad range of issues, including regulatory and legislative matters, compliance and member engagement. She supports Auto Innovators' energy and environmental policy work, with a particular focus on vehicle emissions, clean energy transition, chemical regulation, and federal and state rulemaking.  

Taylor joined Auto Innovators from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she represented clients on environmental and mass tort litigation, regulatory enforcement under federal and state environmental law, environmental compliance counseling, and environmental transactional matters.  

Taylor received her J.D. from The George Washington University School of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College. She is a member of the Connecticut and District of Columbia Bars.
