Malika Butler

Malika Butler is a seasoned public affairs professional with a decade of experience at the intersection of government relations, policy development, and strategic advocacy. Prior to joining the Alliance for Automotive Innovation, she served as the Senior Director of Public Affairs at Taft Stettinius & Hollister, where she led high-impact initiatives representing corporate, automotive, industrial, and trade organizations before state and federal agencies. Prior to her previous role, she served as the Assistant Vice President of Government Affairs at the Indiana Manufacturers Association, where she drove legislative strategy, policy reform, and workforce development initiatives for Indiana’s manufacturing sector. Her past experience also includes diverse lobbying positions, legislative work for the Indiana General Assembly and campaign strategy. Malika earned her M.B.A. from Purdue University’s Mitch Daniels School of Business and holds a B.A. in political science from Indiana University.
