Josh Fisher

Josh Fisher is a Senior Director of State Affairs at the Alliance for Automotive Innovation and has more than 15 years of state government affairs experience. During that time, he has worked with all levels of policymakers at the state and local level. Josh has been with Auto Innovators since its inception and was previously with the Association of Global Automakers since 2016. Josh joined Global Automakers after more than a decade of work at State Associates where he helped lead Stateside Associate’s Healthcare Issue Management Practice and advised clients on health care policy and a wide range of state and local government issues. Past experience also includes work in the Maryland General Assembly, in the U.S. Department of Labor’s Directorate of Construction, and as a law clerk in the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland. Josh graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law and is a member of the Maryland Bar. He holds a B.A. in economics from Washington & Lee University.
