Emily Jones

Emily Jones is an accomplished public policy expert with more than a decade of experience shaping regulatory, environmental, health care and public health policy across federal and state government, nonprofit and private sectors. She joined Alliance for Automotive Innovation in 2025 and leads policy initiatives focused on chemicals and substances of concern.
Previously, she was assistant chief counsel at the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Advocacy, providing legal and regulatory guidance on environmental and chemical issues affecting small businesses. Prior to that, she was the regulatory affairs and administration policy director at Vizient Inc., where she directed strategic regulatory responses and engaged with federal policymakers on Medicare payment reform, hospital quality and telehealth.
Emily received her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law. She holds a B.S. and Master of Public Health from the University of Florida.
