Alliance for Automotive Innovation Names John Jacobs Vice President, Industry Engagement and Partnerships

Nonprofit and association executive will lead strategic partnership and event activity;
oversee launch of new automotive products and services
 

WASHINGTON, DC – Alliance for Automotive Innovation named John Jacobs as Vice President, Industry Engagement and Partnerships.

Jacobs will help expand the association’s strategic partnership, business development and event activities, as well as the launch of new data-driven auto industry products and services.

Most recently, Jacobs worked at the information technology advisory firm Hartman Executive Advisors. He is a former Chief Operating Officer at the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. Earlier he was Vice President, Marketing, Membership and Business Development at the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA).

His 20 years in technology and telecommunications also includes leadership roles at Harris Corporation, Verizon, Yankee Group Research and the United Nations. Jacobs earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from American University and a Master of Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
