Automotive manufacturing has an important role in everyday lives – from providing jobs to providing means to get to jobs. Today, 14 manufacturers operate 50 assembly plants across 14 states. In this episode, host John Bozzella and Stuart Countess, Chief Operating Officer at Kia Georgia, discuss the logistics behind auto manufacturing, and how technological innovations are spurring change in not only how vehicles are made, but also in the over 200,000 people who make them.
