Jason Vita

Jason is a seasoned business development executive with nearly 20 years of experience driving organizational growth through strategic partnerships, membership development, and revenue generation. He joined Auto Innovators as Vice President of Business Development and Membership in 2026, where he leads the association's membership growth strategy and non-dues revenue initiatives, helping expand engagement across the automotive innovation ecosystem.

Known for building lasting relationships and identifying new opportunities for growth, Jason has built a reputation for creating strategic partnerships that deliver long-term value for members, sponsors, and stakeholders while advancing organizational missions.

Jason joined Auto Innovators from the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA), where he served as Vice President of Business Development. There, he expanded the association's national membership, strengthened relationships across the venture capital ecosystem, and consistently grew non-dues revenue through strategic partnerships and sponsorships.

Prior to NVCA, Jason led business development and corporate partnership initiatives at another trade association, the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), where he helped deepen engagement with leading corporations and expand support for LGBTQ-owned businesses nationwide. Earlier in his career, he held roles in financial services, entrepreneurship, and public policy, giving him a broad perspective on the intersection of business, innovation, and government.

Jason earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration from William & Mary and holds a Graduate Certificate in Corporate Finance from Georgetown University. He successfully passed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Exam on his first attempt. Jason lives on Capitol Hill with his partner, and they split time between DC and Sperryville, VA.
